2024 CSD WASTEWATER FACILITY PLAN – PUBLIC UPDATE

The projects listed in the WWFP have been recommended by the District's Engineers (Keller Associates), who completed the study, and are based on current conditions of the system. The District will address projects as funding is available.

At this time the District is not entertaining expansion for developments, new comers, etc. The primary focus is to address any repairs or updates to the current infrastructure in order to serve everyone that the District has already committed service to; LID holders with assessed ERs, those currently connected to the system, and those who had an approved application for service and paid a connection fee prior to the moratorium going into effect. 

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ) is not requiring a public comment period. A public comment period is determined based on the funding used for the study. CSD had a grant funded through ARPA, which covered 50% of the planning cost. The District previously stated there would be a public comment period until IDEQ notified us it was not required, due to the funding used for planning. If you feel compelled to comment on the WWFP, a comment form is available in the Resources tab of the District website and should only be sent to the District. The District will not be holding a public hearing.

The WWFP is considered complete and approved by IDEQ as of 11.5.24.
