New Service Request

Welcome to the Coolin Sewer District Community!

Due to changes in State regulations (Section 39-118 – Idaho State Legislature) all new or materially modified individual wastewater pumping stations must have a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) completed by an Idaho licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and receive approval from Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ) before the District can give final approval on a connection.

The process for obtaining a new connection within the Coolin Sewer District will be as follows:

  • Complete a sewer service application and return to the District Clerk via email
  • Initial review of application by the Board of Directors (connection verification)
  • Have an Idaho licensed PE complete a PER
  • Submit PER to IDEQ and receive approval.
  • Final review of application by the Board of Directors (an IDEQ approved PER must be provided for final review of application)

At the January 8, 2025 regular meeting, the Board approved a connection fee increase from $5,000 to $25,000 per equivalent residence (ER), effective February 1, 2025.
